99th Engines @ Halton '61-'64

It is with a great great sadness and sense of personal loss that we announce that Eddie Read collapsed and died suddenly on Saturday 16 March and was cremated on Monday 25 March. Our deepest, sincere and heartfelt sympathy is extended to his wife Georgina and family.

At the time of his death, Eddie was personally and energetically involved in arranging the first Engine Fitters Reunion and it is Georgina's wish that these arrangements continue in the capable hands of Dave Seaton who has been our engine fitter contact with Eddie's family.
